21st September 2010 - Pan Asia Bank opened its doors to the community of Embilipitiya by offering a full range of banking services, conveniently located at no. 49, Newtown, Embilipitiya. The inauguration of the new branch was marked by the Chief Guest, Her Lordship Mrs. Padmini Weerasinghe, Mayor of Embilipitiya and the Guest of Honor, Mr. A.G. Weerasinghe, Chairman of Pan Asia Bank. The new branch at Embilipitiya is Pan Asia Bank’s 38th Branch, and complements the bank’s existing network of branches in the Sabaragamuwa province, at Kegalle and Ratnapura. The bank has embarked upon an ambitious growth plan, with branches opening in other strategic parts of the island. Not only does the branch opening reflect the strength and profits enjoyed by the bank but also illustrate the bank’s rise in market share within the banking sector.
